For that reason, this grief recovery guide is designed for your unique, broken hearted needs. Our intention is that you find comfort here as you move through your individual seasons of grief. Why should I use this book? That’s a great question. Why should you read a book about your grief? What can this book do for you? Comfort for the Day is an intentionally crafted grief recovery journal. It gives you, the reader, a place to practice healthy grieving, be honest with your feelings and experience God’s comfort for each day of sorrow. Accept Your Individuality Your loss is unique and only you know your pain. Each “Comfort for the Day” was written to stimulate your mind, encourage you to absorb God’s care, comfort, and, most importantly, provide a cushion for your pain. Grief recovery is different for everyone because male, female, parent, child, grandparent, and friend will face the loss uniquely. We need comfort and support, encouragement and understanding; as well as to become aware of our own responses and reactions to our private sorrow.
